4/24 - 5/2 Silver Creek Shakedown
Seems like I should have been able to get out earlier this year with the warm summer, but winter storms always seem to hit on the weekend. Finally getting camp setup to do the shakedown run in the trailer, and get a little fishing in. Still had a storm come through, and several windy days, but overall a good trip and pretty good fishing. Pirates for hire are back for another season!
The Flag flies again!
Little Hail did make it out of the mountains to us.
None stop hiking through the desert if Red had his way.
Crazy dog has to roll in every remaining patch of snow he can find.
Oops, little deep on that last step.
Little moose in the willows.
Full moon rising in the east right after the sun set in the west was as bright as a second sun rise.
Game camera caught a lot of birds crossing through camp. You could hear these pheasant all day long.
Funniest catch by far. Thought I caught a black and white cat on the fence at the end of last year but could really tell, but here it is hunting at night.
Bigger cow was hanging around camp most days, deep into the molt now.
Magpies make themselves right at home.
Pygmy rabbits were playing all around camp, driving Red crazy!
Of course, the local moose was on the move under the full moon.
